Served on various occasions as advisor to Parliament and the Government on constitutional issues, inter alia as member of the Schengen Reference Group (1999), the Commission on Parliamentary Control (2000-2002), and the Commission on the State Church (2003-2005).
Extensive experience as litigation lawyer before the national courts, and also as national agent before the EFTA Court and the European Court of Justice. Member of the Attorney General’s leadership group 2005-2007, with responsibility inter alia for the EU/EEA law portfolio.
