Democratic institutions - Ombudsman

Skopje - The Venice Commission participated in the 10th anniversary of the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen and to the 20th anniversary of the Ombudsman of "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia".
On this occasion a conference on “Ombudsman as a protector of the social, cultural and environmental rights” was organised by the Ombudsman of "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia".
The participation of several Ombudsmen was covered by the programme “Ensuring Sustainable Democratic and Human Rights in the Southern Mediterranean” funded by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe.
