Tbilisi – The Venice Commission meets the Working group on the reform of the Electoral Code. This group is composed of members of the parliament from various political forces and tends to improve the Electoral Code, on the basis of the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the OSCE.
On this occasion, Ms Lidija Korac, Electoral expert, and Mr Gaël Martin-Micallef, Programme officer of the Venice Commission Secretariat meet the Georgian authorities, -Minister of Justice, Vice-Chairman of the Parliament, Chairman of the Central Election Commission-, and a group of non governmental organisations, in order to discuss future elections and related planned activities.
