On 8 March 2018 Ms Helena Dalli, the Minister for European Affairs and Equality of Malta requested the Venice Commission to provide an opinion on the draft equality act and on the draft act on Human Rights and Equality Commission. A visit of the rapporteurs of the Venice Commission to Malta is planned for 2-4 May 2018.
