“The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” – electoral issues

Skopje, Holiday Inn Hotel - The Venice Commission takes part in a Round Table on “the new Electoral Code and the relevant legislation in view of upcoming elections”, organised by the Programme against corruption and organised crime in South-Eastern Europe (PACO; Legal Affairs Directorate of the Council of Europe) and the Venice Commission, in co-operation with the State Election Commission of the “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
The Venice Commission expert intervenes mainly on: the new provisions of the Electoral code; the main rules on financing of political parties and electoral campaigns; the voting process and the role of electoral administration in the electoral process.
