Moldova - Training for electoral commissions

Chisinau - Upon the request of the Central Electoral Commission of Moldova the Venice Commission organised an electoral training workshop on parliamentary elections. The participants discussed different aspects of the organisation of elections such as the registration of candidates, the work of electoral commissions before and during the day of elections and the role of national and international observers. The main objective of this activity was to share the experience of organising and conducting elections between international experts and members of the electoral commissions, judges and representatives of other institutions and organisations involved in the electoral process.
