Bucharest - A study visit for judges and staff of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Constitutional court of Romania will take place on 5-6 December 2014.

This study visit is a follow-up to the co-operation started last year following a request made by the authorities of Tajikistan to provide a legal opinion on the draft law “On the Constitutional court of the Republic of Tajikistan”.

The participants will be able to exchange experience with the Romanian colleagues. They will also visit the Legislative Council, the Parliament and the University of Bucharest.

This activity is organised by the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe within the framework of the project "Supporting Constitutional Justice, Access to Justice and Electoral Reform in the Countries of Central Asia" with funding provided by the European Union and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
