The Venice Commission held online meetings with Bulgarian authorities in the framework of the preparation of the draft opinion on the draft constitutional amendments upon the request by the President of the National Assembly submitted on 18 September 2020.
Meetings - online - with the President of the National Assembly, representatives of parliamentary fractions of the National Assembly, the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General, judges of the Supreme Administrative Court and Supreme Court of Cassation, members of the Supreme Judicial Council and representatives of Bulgarian civil society were held on 5 and 6 November 2020.
