Serbia - forthcoming opinions on judiciary - country visit

Belgrade - A delegation of the Venice Commission is visiting Belgrade on 31 January and 1 February 2013 to meet with representatives from the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, several working groups, the Judges’ Association of Serbia, the Prosecutors’ Association of Serbia and the Parliamentary Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-government. These meetings have been organised in the context of the Venice Commission’s preparation of opinions for Serbia on the draft amendments to the Law on Judges, to the Law on the organisation of courts and to the Law on the Public Prosecution.
