On 28 April 2022, the Moldovan authorities requested an Opinion of the Venice Commission on two Laws concerning the media law and criminalisation of dissemination of symbols.
This draft opinion is prepared under the Quick Response Mechanism within the framework of the EU/CoE joint programme Partnership for Good Governance, co-funded by the Council of Europe and the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe.
The draft opinion will be on the agenda of the October plenary session of the Venice Commission.
