Electoral questions - 3d European Conference of Electoral Management Bodies

Moscow, Central Election Commission - The Third European Conference of Electoral Management Bodies on the “Development and codification of international standards in the field of elections” is organised by the Venice Commission in co-operation with the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation.
The issues to be addressed during the conference include:
- the development of electoral standards by international organisations and their implementation in different Council of Europe member States,
- the impact of new technologies on electoral process,
- the security of transmission of the results,
- the impact of the dissemination of information on the electoral process in increasing voters' participation.
Representatives of electoral management bodies from all over Europe take part in this event. This activity is one of the first events of the Russian chairmanship at the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
