Venice, Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista - In its first plenary session of 2019, the Venice Commission adopted the opinion on the introduction of a separate system of administrative courts in Hungary. Hungarian Justice Minister László Trócsányi attended the session on Friday 15 March.

Other adopted opinions concern the revision of Luxembourg’s constitution, legal provisions on the relationship between the prosecution and the police in Georgia and on the Judicial Council of North Macedonia.

Venice, Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista - The Council of Europe’s Venice Commission has just adopted an opinion on the compatibility with international human rights standards of the Hungarian government’s new “Stop Soros” draft legislative package as far as it affects NGOs. At its 114th plenary session which took place on 16-17 March 2018 in Venice (Italy), the Commission:
