On 28 June 2022 the National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE) requested the Venice Commission’s opinion on the draft constitutional amendments in the field of the electoral system of Mexico recently presented to the Chamber of Deputies. The opinion will focus on issues related to the electoral administration.
The draft opinion will be on the agenda of the October 2022 plenary session of the Commission.
