By letter dated 11 August 2022, the Minister of Justice of Bulgaria requested an opinion of the Venice Commission on the draft amendments to the Judicial System Act aimed to improve the role of the Inspectorate at the Supreme Judicial Council in preventing and countering corruption in the judiciary.
The draft opinion will be submitted for adoption at the 132nd Plenary session of the Commission (21-22 October 2022).
