Bali, Indonesia - The Venice Commission has been selected as the winner in the general category "Specific progress towards the main objectives of the GNEJ" of the 2021 edition of the Global Network of Electoral Justice (GNEJ) Awards.
The Jury, presided by the Scientific Committee of the GNEJ, evaluated numerous nominations, projects and articles from all over the world, and concluded that the Venice Commission and its key documents on electoral reform and justice stand out in this field.
Mr Gianni Buquicchio, President Emeritus, Special Representative of the Venice Commission participates in the 5th Plenary Assembly of the Global Network Electoral Justice, held from 9 to 11 October 2022 in Bali, Indonesia.
On this occasion Mr Buquicchio received this Prize on behalf of the Commission on 10 October 2022.
